Description
This coffee table features a lift-top mechanism that allows the tabletop to rise and move forward. The closed dimensions are 100 cm long, 50 cm wide, and 45 cm high. When the top is lifted, it reaches a height of 60 cm at the front edge and extends forward by 18 cm, creating a work or dining surface suitable for laptop use or casual meals. The mechanism uses hydraulic pistons (gas springs) with a lifting force of 150 N, designed to assist lifting and control descent. The top is made from MDF with a walnut veneer; the inner compartment under the lift top measures 70 cm by 40 cm by 10 cm deep, ideal for storing blankets, remotes, or board games. A lower open shelf (90 cm by 40 cm) sits 12 cm above the floor for additional storage. The base is made from engineered wood with a matching walnut finish. The maximum load on the lifted top is 15 kg (evenly distributed); the closed top can hold up to 30 kg. The lower shelf holds up to 10 kg. The table does not have wheels. Assembly is required: install the legs, attach the hydraulic mechanism to the top and base, and install the lower shelf. Estimated assembly time is 40 minutes. Tools and instructions are included. This product is intended for indoor residential use. The gas springs are rated for approximately 10,000 cycles. Avoid sitting or standing on the lifted top. Clean with a damp cloth; do not spill liquids into the mechanism. The table weighs 22 kg.
